DEADLINES FOR INDEPENDENT FELLOWSHIP APPLICATIONS TO DPMMS
Applications for DPMMS to host independent postdoctoral Fellowships should be received well in advance of funder deadlines, to go through our internal evaluation and approval process. We request that we receive draft applications (comprising a CV, outline research proposal, name of Cambridge Faculty host mentor and names of two referees we may contact) by
July 30th for Royal Society URF & Marie-Curie applications
October 30th for other applications (including Leverhulme ECF and Royal Commission of 1851)
(we allow EPSRC postdoctoral fellowship applications to both deadlines).
- Candidates applying to any independent postdoc at DPMMS are advised to be in touch with the Head of Department about their intention as early as possible, and to also ask their host mentor to write some paragraphs of support to the HoD, as well as submitting their materials in advance of the deadline;
- candidates wishing to be supported for any independent fellowship should ask their nominated referees to write directly to the HoD by our deadline;
- specifically for Leverhulme Early Career fellowships, we would like all the materials discussed at https://www.newtontrust.cam.ac.uk/ECFs/LeverhulmeECF/Leverhulmedepts/LECFnational to be included in an application.
