G'day! I am Zoe Wyatt, an assistant professor at the Department of Pure Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics, University of Cambridge, and Fellow in Mathematics at Murray Edwards College. My contact email is firstname.surname@maths.cam.ac.uk.

Originally from Melbourne, Australia, I have long enjoyed typing maths on computers.

Brief CV

  • Since August 2023: Assistant Professor at DPMMS, University of Cambridge, and Fellow in Mathematics at Murray Edwards College.
  • 2015 - 2020: PhD in Mathematics under Pieter Blue at the University of Edinburgh.
  • 2010 - 2014: BA and MMath at Newnham College, University of Cambridge.

A full copy of my CV, including recent talks and conferences, can be found here.

I am also an editor at Proceedings of the Royal Society of Edinburgh Section A: Mathematics. Please see this link to make a submission.

Research

My research lies at the intersection of general relativity, differential geometry and nonlinear PDEs. Concretely, I study analytic properties of solutions to PDEs that have been derived from theories of higher dimensional gravity, string theory, particle physics and cosmology.

I hold an AMusA in piano, and in my spare time I love playing piano and bird-watching.
