The deadline for applications for Ph.D. places for the 2026-27 academic year has now past. So please don't write to me inquiring whether admission for 2026 is possible!

If you are interested in admission for 2027-28, I will tbe taking one student or two students, depending on what my workload looks like. I will only look seriously at applicants with a strong background in Algebraic Geometry, at the level of Hartshorne's or Vakil's texts. The application process is through the department, and you can find more information about how to apply and what the deadline is at the following link: Department information page.
