Mid-week, most of the progress seemed to be on the landscaping, with the narrow border having acquired nice edging.

At the end of the week, more of the concrete by the side of the house was gone:

The pathways now were covered with compacted gravel:

The same is true of the foundation of the studio:

Finally, an interesting archeological find. When the concrete pathway was being removed the previous week, a number of Edwardian era sinks were found. Presumably they were used as a leveller when the path was built. (Now, the first layer of support in the new pathways and patios are pieces of the broken up concrete being removed).
