This week we get excited about pipes!

The above pictures were all on the first floor. Some of these pipes bring the plumbing up to the second floor (loft) bathroom:

Note that the south gable wall and chimney is now almost completely rebuilt, too:

The insulation in the new roof is now completely in place, making it feel like a proper, closed-in, room:

The north wall has not yet been touched, but some of the wooden structure has been reinforced as per the engineer's instructions:

Finally preparations seem almost done for demolishing the bit of rear wall, with various metal bits reinforcing the connection between the roof joists and the walls, and temporary wooden bracing in place. I think our builder is quite nervous about this part.
