About me

I am a third-year PhD student in mathematics at the University of Cambridge, under the supervision of Henry Wilton. My research is in geometric group theory. More specifically, I am interested in stable commutator length (scl), bounded cohomology, the topology of surfaces, and general notions of hyperbolicity and nonpositive curvature. Here is a poster explaining the research of my PhD around stable commutator length. Previous projects have led me to focus on outer automorphism groups of free products, on rigidity of hyperbolic groups, and on Coxeter groups.

I am a co-organiser of the Junior Geometry Seminar at Cambridge, together with Siao Chi Mok. You can subscribe and unsubscribe to the mailing list here. Please speak to either of us if you would like to suggest a speaker or volunteer for a talk!

My office is E0.14 at the Centre for Mathematical Sciences, Cambridge.

Lecture notes

During my Bachelor's and Master's studies, I typed lecture notes for the courses I attended. I am making them available here in the hope that they will be useful to others. Please note that they may not reflect the contents of the courses, as I have made some modifications. In particular, all the responsibility for mistakes is mine.
